Thirty arrests and six charged over Dover neo Nazi demo

Police across the country have made thirty arrests over violence that broke out at a neo Nazi demo in Dover last month.

Hitler salutes were thrown and neo Nazi flags flown after an afternoon of violence in the seaside town and at Maidstone services.

Those charged so far are:

  • Richard Williams, 31, of Bryngwran in Anglesey, Wales, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 18 April 2016.
  • Nathan Waller, 18, of Maes Meurig in Gwalchmai, Anglesey, Wales, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 18 April 2016.
  • Deaton Whitbread, 22, of Mooring Road, Rochester, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 18 April 2016.
  • James Whitbread, 39, of Mooring Road, Rochester, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 18 April 2016.
  • Roy Price, 50, of Bagleys Spring in Romford, Essex, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 5 April 2016. (pictured above)
  • Nicholas Cullin, 40, of Robins Path in Benfleet, Essex, has been charged with violent disorder and bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on 18 April 2016.

Craig Knott, 35, of Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne, failed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates Court on Monday (February 29).

He was charged with possessing a bladed instrument – namely a locking knife. A warrant was made for his arrest without bail.

Update: Roy Price has been remanded for his alleged part.
