EDL and BNP up the racism in the lead up to their Bristol demo

The English Defence League are to hold a divisive demonstration in Bristol this weekend. We have tried endlessly to get the EDL to explain what the problems with Bristol based Muslims are but not one of them has been able to explain.

Despite the EDL claiming their demonstration is not racist, it appears they just cannot get away from their fact that their members and those attending are openly racist on Facebook.

Chris Rasher Bacon (presumably named due to the fact that he thinks bacon will protect him from his paranoid visions of an Islamic takeover) made a couple of posts this morning advertising the Bristol demo and then a racist post claiming that all 'pakis' should go home.

Due to the fact that this is suppose to be a non-racist demo we are wondering if leadership will be barring Chris from the demo but we suspect they will not, considering they need all the feet on the ground they can get.  They are facing massive opposition in Bristol and by their own leadership's calculations, they are not looking at being able to muster more than 300 racists.

So desperate they are for numbers, regional organiser has invited the BNP along to their jolly day out.

The EDL Support Group claims that the British National Party have not been invited by the EDL have turned out to be lies and EDL Bristol Division have made it quite clear that they need to get numbers up and their regional organiser, Mickey bayliss has already invited the far right racists of the BNP to the Bristol demo.

 Meanwhile, Joe Marsh's  teenage bloggers over in EDL Casuals fantasy land, have appeared to have completely made up a story and thrown a tantrum over it.

We are not sure who bought it to their attention considering their unimportance in the grand scheme of things but we never get tired of them claiming the go where they want and when they want, before getting told what to do and where to go by police.

Communications have gone out to EDL members to tell them not to get drunk on Saturday's demo. This communication goes out before every demo and they still end up staggering down the street drunk. If they are serious about this being a dry demo, it should decimate the numbers further as many see it as a day out with like minded racists and if drink is not allowed, many will simply be uninterested.

East Midlands co-ordinator, Tony Curtis, made the following statement on Facebook

i have personally had to get drunks away from confronting the OB at demos and at Hyde I saw a woman who was absolutely wasted being helped along by her friends in full view of the press~as I said there is nothing wrong with a couple of tinnies on the bus but what I have witnessed in recent events is simply not acceptable~if people behaved responsibly rules wouldn't need to be imposed~those who's heart is with the cause won't have a problem with it."

Another message was posted up announcing the ban on fireworks after EDL members, Anthony Crawford was recently convicted of injuring an anti jubilee protester with a firework

Please also note that the use of fireworks/bangers at Bristol is banned and will be at all future events. The use of these is against the law and in view of the recent terrorist threats to the EDL and the arrests recently made of Muslims intending to attack the Dewsbury demo the Police have stated that any fireworks/bangers used will result in firm policing by them given the current terrorist threat level.

Bristol is a hotbed of anti fascism and they face severe opposition on Saturday. Their Bristol Division comprises of around fifteen members so they are hoping to ship a lot of people in from outside the city.  Judging by the last estimate there was around 1,800 people pledged to turn out to oppose the fascists and many more are expected and hundreds of anti EDL posters have already been put up around the city.

The EDL are not looking forward to this one.
