Dull EDL Dewsbury Demo turns into farce

There was a time where the English Defence League could summon up a few thousand for their race hate demos.  After many demos caged in car parks, apathy has taken hold and the EDL only managed to muster around 250 'patriots' for their Dewsbury demo and were heavily outnumbered by police. We witnessed two arrests at the scene and one in Halifax but there might well have been more.

The cost of today's demo was estimated at £500,000. That is a cost to the tax payer of £2000 for every drunken racist that turned up.

We are unsure what the Dewsbury demo was about and their Yorkshire Division informed us on their Facebook page that is was because some of the Muslims in the area were 'secular'  Baffling we know considering they are usually complaining because they do not integrate.

The truth is, they do not wish to integrate with balding drunk racists, much like the rest of the country has no desire to socialise with them, and judging by some of the shabby states we witnessed today, who could blame them.

We were rather disappointed to bump into racist Tameside Division member, Lacette Brooks (below left) who was pictured at the last EDL demo wearing a horrible Union Flag pair of leggings/dubious dungaree combo click here for full horror) without the leggings. Brooks is desperate to become an EDL 'Head Angle'

Brooks tells us how her afternoon went.

As far as demos go, this one was particularly dull, even by their own recent low standards and is hardly going to be a catalyst for recruitment or encourage anyone other than the hard core to attend their Bristol demonstration, where they will be facing massive opposition, opposition they have probably not seen since they got chased out of Brighton twice in two weeks.

Above: Farnborough based EDL member, Richard Schultz. A little birdy tells us Schultz has lost a custody battle over his children this week. We wonder why. More on Nazi worshipping Schultz here when we outed him earlier this year.

Notably missing, were their football hooligan division, The Casuals. This is probably to do with their leader, Jeff Marsh, laying into Tommy after the last demo and the EDL accusing the casuals of covering for paedos in the Charlene Downes case. Hel Gower did not seem to put in an appearance and was busy crowing on Facebook about some EDL lads who had put an EDL flag on top of a mosque.  It turned out it was not a mosque at all, just a half built building which has been abandoned for ten years or so.

Also absent was Tommy who could not be bothered to show up, instead sending his cousin, Kevin Carroll, who made a speech that was dull, even by his low standards. Perhaps Tommy has decided that it is wise to stay out of the North after the Infidels put up posters of Tommy trying it on with a fifteen year old schoolgirl on Twitter before their Rochdale demo.

One of the arrested was Kevin Smith who fell foul of the police in Halifax and got carted off to the cells before he even got to the demo.

Smith is the proud owner of a desecrated flag that says 'Muzzie Scum - Rowley Division' so we are not sure if the police finally lifted him over that or some other halfwittery.  Here is a picture of Smith below. This is a foretaster of the master race and what our country will look after the EDL have got rid of all the foreigners and people who do not have any issues with foreigners.  Population 250.

As the following screenshot shows, poor Kev started the day on a high note with a spirited vow to 'take the streets back' which did not go exactley as planned.

The only flag hapless Kev saw, was that of West Yorkshire Police's, flying proudly over his free acommodation for the afternoon.

To make matters worse, the previous night he had proclaimed that he was not going to fall foul of Old Bill. No way, ever, not after last time they were in Dewsbury.

The witless Kevin Carroll took to the stage to drone out a speech that was so dull, EDLers passed the time by kicking off at each other at the back of the crowd. A few minor scuffles also broke out before the two minutes silence for Armed Forces Day. A show of respect for organisations that cannot stand them.

Before the demo started, Carroll got off to a spectacular start when a Hope not Hate photographer snapped him laughing and drinking with a well known Scottish EDL neo Nazi.  Also present was violent thug, Anthony Crawford,  who is awaiting sentence after being found guilty of injuring a teenager with a firework at Jubilee weekend.

Overall, the English Defence League need to up their game as they are spending a lot of money on days out, only to be kettled in a car part listening to a boring speech by Uncle Kev, with the rest of the country and  the powers that be, largely ignoring them.

Gone are the days where they could turn up, get drunk, meet new like minded racists and kick off.  The police now outnumber them so heavily there is not opportunity to kick off and the hardcore that do bother to show up are getting fed up of seeing the same old faces all the time.

Many have realised that the imaginary threat of Islamics taking over the country is not worth the bother of spending loads of money, getting treated like shit by the police and the locals and then getting banged up, and if they are really unlucky, getting savaged by happy snappy dogs. Many of them though, have simply grown up.

This week has not been a good week for the English Defence League. On Monday, five members of their Blackburn Division pleaded guilty to violent disorder and were jailed 'for being English'. Also this week, the EDL's Berks Division anounced that they were cancelling their upcoming Slough demonstration due to zero interest. Not being able to think of a reason that did not lose them face, they opted to blame the paralympics being on at the same time.

Doing the rounds of EDL Facebook walls this morning, there was a lot of bravado and shouts of 'we are going to take our streets back'.  When it came down to it, they were escorted in, contained and moved out again in a carefully planned police operation and the streets still belonged to the rest of this country's citizens.

Perhaps if the EDL stopped lying about expected turn out or the police stopped believing them they wouldn't cost so much, just a though.

"fuckin hell, what a piss poor turn out, I reckon I could've policed that one by myself" - Boba's Mum.

If the EDL is so irrelevant, then why does pro-terrorist/a nti-England UAF protest against them?

why can't the edl do a protest in a empty field away from decent civilised people and let a few hundred mac/islam4uk supporters come to their protest and let them kick each others heads in no need for the police to get involved everybody wins

Quoting Rocky Lore:

Try asking UAF why they do what they do - how are we meant to know - we aren't UAF.
